The Sunday XI travelled to Arundel and played a 40 over match. Palmers batted after winning the toss.

Unlike last week there were no ducks and all of the out batsmen made double figures. Cal Cleary go the first 50 of the season including 2 sixes and 5 fours. The team put on 133 with Cal at the crease. Alex Cornwell went close to his maiden 50 but was bowled for 48 - his highest score.

The bowlers then took over defending 232. Jim McLarnon took 2 wickets in successive balls in the 3rd over. This brought their no. 3 to the crease and at 14 years showed his class against our bowling and top scored with 65.

James Dawes came on to bowl near the end taking 2 for 7 (the best figures of the day).

The final result was a 69 run win for Palmers.
